Jamie Stevenson

My passion for veterinary medicine began at the age of 11, when I started walking dogs for a local veterinary clinic in my hometown. That early experience sparked a lifelong love of animal care and set me on the path to becoming a veterinary technician.

Originally from Connecticut, I earned my bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Connecticut in 2002. In 2003, I moved to Breckenridge, Colorado, and later relocated to the Denver area in 2007. After moving to Denver, I attended Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology, where I earned my Associate of Applied Science degree in Veterinary Technology. I have been a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) for more than 15 years and proudly maintain my certification through continuing education.

One of the things I enjoy most about veterinary medicine is that it is constantly evolving. There are always new advancements, techniques, and treatments to learn, allowing us to provide the highest quality care for our patients and support the people who love them.

Outside of work, I enjoy snowboarding, camping, paddleboarding, attending concerts, and spending time with my husband, our 10yr old son, and our beloved pets. Our family includes one dog, Wallace, a 14yr old Border Collie mix, a 11yr old gray tabby cat named Tink, and Roger, our 4yr old axolotl.
